Google has officially started rolling out its November 2025 Pixel Feature Drop, bringing a host of AI-powered tools, personalization upgrades, and safety improvements to Pixel devices. The update introduces Remix in Google Messages, AI notification summaries, new theme packs, and several exclusive features for newer Pixel models.
Remix in Google Messages

One of the biggest highlights of this update is Remix, a new creative tool in Google Messages that lets users edit and reimagine photos directly within chats. Using Nano Banana, Google’s Gemini-based image model, Remix allows users to modify pictures — from redecorating rooms to tweaking hairstyles or even transforming pets.
The feature works seamlessly in group chats, and participants can remix images back and forth without leaving the app. It’s available on Android devices from November 2025 for users aged 18 and older.
Wicked: For Good Theme Packs

Pixel users can now customize their phones with new “Wicked: For Good” theme packs inspired by the hit musical Wicked. Themed styles — For Good, Glinda, and Elphaba — refresh wallpapers, icons, sounds, and GIFs. These limited-edition themes are available until January 31, 2026 (excluding Japan).
AI-Powered Notification Summaries

AI notification summaries are now available on Pixel 9 and newer devices (except 9a), helping users quickly catch up on long messages and busy group chats. The feature summarizes conversations in real time, letting users identify important details at a glance.
VIP Tools and Chat Scam Detection

Google is also improving safety and communication. VIP Tools now prioritize important messages and display crisis badges for urgent alerts. Meanwhile, Chat Scam Detection uses AI to flag suspicious messages with a “likely scam” warning — available for Pixel 6 and newer in the U.S.

Personalized Photo Edits

Google Photos gains personalized editing tools, allowing users to open eyes, remove sunglasses, or adjust smiles using AI-based face recognition. This feature is available to eligible Android users in the U.S.
Power Saving Mode in Maps

Pixel 10 users now get a new Power Saving Mode in Google Maps that simplifies the interface to show only essential navigation info — potentially extending battery life by up to four hours.
Other Additions
The update also introduces:
- Magic Cue suggestions powered by Private AI Compute (Pixel 10+)
- Device Health & Support Hub for diagnostics and troubleshooting (Pixel 6–9)
- Pixel Journal App for mood and memory tracking (Pixel 8+)
- Magnifier App for reading real-world text on Pixel Fold devices
- Sound Matters: Wild Hokkaido sound pack with nature-inspired tones
