Google is preparing to launch the Pixel 10 series in just over two weeks, with new exclusive renders revealing the Pixel 10 in the striking new “Frost” color. The phone will debut at Google’s Made by Google event on August 20 in New York City.

The new Frost variant features a matte finish on both the back and sides, providing a subtle and elegant look. This design is a sharp contrast to the Pixel 10 Pro, which is expected to feature glossy side rails for a more premium feel. Aside from the color update, the Pixel 10 retains its traditional design cues, with thin bezels and a minimalist aesthetic.

One notable design change is the enlarged camera visor on the back. Although the camera bar remains roughly the same size as previous models, the glass covering the triple-camera setup has been expanded to accommodate the updated sensors.

Under the hood, the Pixel 10 boasts a 6.3-inch OLED display and runs on Google’s latest Tensor G5 chip, manufactured using TSMC’s advanced 3nm process. This new processor promises improved performance and efficiency, alongside Google’s first custom-made image signal processor (ISP).

Performance is further supported by 12GB of RAM and storage configurations of 128GB and 256GB. The camera setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens—both downgraded slightly from the Pixel 9 series. The phone also features a 10.8-megapixel telephoto sensor, consistent with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold and Pixel 10 Pro Fold models.

Price-wise, the Pixel 10 is expected to start at $799 for the 128GB variant in the US, with the 256GB model priced at $899. In Canada, prices are set at $1,099 and $1,229 respectively for the two storage options.

As the launch date approaches, Google fans can expect a continuation of the company’s focus on blending software innovation with solid hardware upgrades, keeping the Pixel 10 a strong contender in the mid-range smartphone market.

Stay tuned for the official unveiling on August 20.
