JBL has refreshed its popular Tune headphone series with four new models, enhancing features and design to cater to different listening preferences. The newly launched JBL Tune 780NC and Tune 680NC bring premium features such as Adaptive Noise Cancelling (ANC), Ambient Aware mode, and JBL Spatial Sound, offering immersive audio experiences for users who want noise-free music in any environment. The JBL Tune 730BT and Tune 530BT models focus on everyday listening with JBL Pure Bass sound and come at more affordable price points.
JBL Tune 780NC and Tune 680NC
The JBL Tune 780NC is an over-ear headphone equipped with 40mm drivers, while the JBL Tune 680NC is an on-ear headphone with 32mm drivers. Both models support JBL Pure Bass and Spatial Sound and feature Personi-Fi 3.0 for personalized sound tuning. ANC technology includes a Smart Ambient mode that adjusts environmental noise, allowing users to tune in or out of surrounding sounds easily. They also have two beamforming microphones and noise suppression for clear calls. Battery life is impressive, delivering up to 76 hours without ANC and 50 hours with ANC active. A quick 5-minute charge adds 5 hours of playback. These headphones offer Bluetooth 6.0 with LE Audio, multi-point connection, Fast Pair by Google, and Swift Pair by Microsoft. The JBL Tune 730BT is an over-ear model with 40mm drivers, and the JBL Tune 530BT is an on-ear model with 33mm drivers. Both models focus on delivering JBL Pure Bass sound without ANC or Spatial Sound features. They also support Bluetooth 6.0, multi-point connections, fast charging, and have dual beamforming microphones for calls. Battery life extends up to 76 hours with a quick charge adding 5 hours of playtime. The Tune 730BT comes in Black, White, Blue, and Beige, while the Tune 530BT adds a Lavender color option as well.
Pricing and Availability
The JBL Tune 730BT and 530BT will be available starting October 2025, priced at €79.99 and €49.99 respectively. The JBL Tune 780NC and 680NC launch in November 2025, priced at €129.99 and €99.99, respectively. Alongside these headphones, JBL has also introduced the Boombox 4 and PartyBox 720 portable speakers, which are slated for release later this month.
