Apple’s iPhone 17 lineup has been leaked ahead of its official September 2025 launch, revealing the base iPhone 17, the new iPhone 17 Air, and the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models, along with their full range of colors—including a bold new orange finish exclusive to the Pro variants.
According to leakster Sonny Dickson, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will offer a striking copper-orange color option, alongside classic shades like black, grey, silver, and dark blue. The new orange is a departure from Apple’s traditionally subdued palette for Pro models, signaling a potential shift to brighter, more vibrant finishes. The iPhone 17 Air, meanwhile, will be available in a blue shade previously expected only for Pro models, and the base iPhone 17 includes a pink variant, giving users more colorful choices across the lineup.
The iPhone 17 Air replaces the outgoing Plus model, featuring an ultra-thin design with a 6.6-inch OLED display that includes ProMotion technology and Dynamic Island. Leaks suggest improved specs closer to the Pro models than initially thought, making it more than just a thinner Plus replacement. This new model adds diversity to Apple’s lineup and bridges the gap between the base and Pro tiers in pricing and performance.

Design-wise, the Pro models are expected to feature a distinctive rectangular camera bump spanning the phone’s width, housing three horizontally arranged 48 MP cameras including wide, ultrawide, and telephoto lenses with up to 3.5x zoom, potentially enhanced by a new vapor chamber cooling system internally. The whole series is rumored to feature LTPO OLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates and Apple’s upcoming A19 chipset, with Pro models getting 12GB RAM to bolster performance.
Apple is also testing changes like repositioned Apple logos and hybrid aluminum-glass backs for enhanced build quality, while the Air model boasts a highly slim profile reportedly around 5.5mm thick. The base iPhone 17 might increase screen size slightly compared to previous models to better align with the Pro.
Given the dummy units used for leaks, actual finishes especially for the bright orange might vary once Apple applies its official polish. However, these vibrant colors reflect Apple’s intent to refresh the lineup’s aesthetics after years of more muted hues.
Apple is expected to reveal the iPhone 17 series officially at a September event, where final specs, prices, and availability will be confirmed.
