Some OnePlus 13s units are showing a green line display issue just days after purchase, causing frustration among users due to unclear replacement policies and service center responses. This problem was reported by a OnePlus 13s user on Reddit who noticed a faint green line appear on their phone’s screen intermittently. The line remained until the device was restarted and reappeared in the same spot later. When the user approached a OnePlus service center, the staff refused to replace the phone immediately because the video evidence did not show the phone’s IMEI number. Instead, they instructed the user to monitor the issue for a few days.

Complicating matters further is OnePlus’s 15-day replacement window. If the green line appears after this period, the user reportedly would not be eligible for a free replacement under standard policy. However, OnePlus has a lifetime warranty against green line display issues through its Worry-Free program, offering free screen replacements for this specific defect, although the process seems to be a hassle and not straightforward in practice.

The OnePlus 13s, which launched in India in June 2025 as a rebranded OnePlus 13T with minor tweaks like a slightly smaller battery, sports a 6.32-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and 12GB RAM. Despite its strong specs, the green line issue raises concerns about quality control and customer support for a brand-new flagship device.
