OPPO is gearing up to launch the Find X9, and recent leaks reveal impressive new features and powerful upgrades over its predecessor, the Find X8. The Find X9 adopts a rectangular camera module instead of the circular one on the X8, creating a more harmonious and premium-looking design. The new camera setup stacks higher specifications, including the same Danxia Original Color lens used on the Ultra model, promising exceptional photographic capabilities.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with up to 16GB RAM and Android 16 with ColorOS 16 out of the box. The Geekbench listing for model OPPO CPH2791 confirms a flagship-grade CPU configuration and Mali-G1-Ultra MC12 GPU. The display is expected to be a 6.59-inch 1.5K resolution OLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering stunning visuals with smooth performance.

OPPO’s Find series head Zhou Yibao emphasized that the Find X9 combines the longest battery life with the most powerful standard flagship hardware to date. Features include the latest flagship chipset, the newly upgraded Tidal Engine for enhanced performance, the smoothest ColorOS 16 system, and an eye-protection screen with very narrow bezels on all sides.
The device also boasts a rich ecosystem with advanced features, such as ultrasonic fingerprint sensors across all models, wireless fast charging, and industry-leading dust and water resistance ratings with IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications. A notable partnership with Hasselblad ensures the camera system offers premium image quality and exclusive enhancements.
With all these advancements, the OPPO Find X9 looks set to be a flagship that excels in design, performance, battery life, and photography, making it a compelling choice for users looking for a top-tier smartphone experience.
Release is expected in the coming months, with more details to be unveiled closer to launch.
