Realme has officially confirmed the launch of its new P4 series smartphones, including the Realme P4 Pro and Realme P4, in India on August 20, 2025, at 12:00 PM IST. The devices will be available for purchase on Flipkart and the official Realme India website following the launch.
Realme P4 Pro: Dual-Chip Powerhouse
The Realme P4 Pro stands out in its price segment by featuring two distinct chipsets for enhanced performance. It is powered primarily by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4nm TSMC process, which delivers impressive power with an Antutu benchmark score exceeding 1.1 million. Complementing this is a dedicated HyperVision AI chipset from Pixelworks, the X7 Gen 2 visual processor, which offloads advanced visual tasks such as graphics rendering, real-time frame generation, resolution upscaling to 1.5K, and AI-based enhancements like AI Hyper Clarity, AI Hyper Motion, and AI Always-On HDR.
This dual-chip setup enables stable 144 FPS gameplay across more than 100 titles and gives the device a performance comparable to higher-tier chipsets while managing thermal conditions efficiently through the GT Performance Engine 3.0. The company has collaborated with PerfDog to provide a “Frame Generation Index” to monitor graphics performance in real time.
The Realme P4 Pro features a large 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+, peak brightness of 6500 nits, and support for 1.07 billion colors, closely matching the display technology of the Realme 15 Pro. It also houses a huge 7000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support for lasting endurance.
Realme P4: Mid-Range Dual-Chip Model
The standard Realme P4 also adopts a dual-chip architecture but scales things slightly differently. It combines the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G chipset with the dedicated Pixelworks visual processor, delivering enhanced visuals, smoother gaming, and better frame stability at a more budget-friendly price point.
Distinctive Designs
- Realme P4 Pro: Features a unique “Living Nature” design with a premium tech-wood back panel, offering three finishes inspired by nature—Birch Wood (light warm tone), Dark Oak Wood (deep brown), and Midnight Ivy (muted emerald green).
- Realme P4: Embraces a more industrial aesthetic called “Metal Heart,” with metallic lines and exposed screw details. Available colors include Steel Grey, Engine Blue, and Forge Red.
Availability and Software Support
The phones will officially launch in India on August 20, 2025, with sales starting on Flipkart and Realme’s official store. Realme has also committed to providing three years of Android OS updates and four years of security patches for the P4 series, along with the P3 and P3 Ultra models.
