Samsung has launched the Galaxy Book4 Edge 15-inch model in India, featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon X processor. This new release expands the Galaxy Book4 Edge lineup, which already includes 14-inch and 16-inch models powered by Snapdragon X Elite processors.
The Galaxy Book4 Edge 15 sports a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS anti-glare display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, housed within a slim and lightweight chassis crafted from a blend of recycled plastics, glass, and aluminum. The laptop supports the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard for high-speed wireless connectivity and includes Bluetooth 5.4. It also features a 1080p HD webcam positioned at the top bezel, enhanced by Windows Studio Effects including voice focus, background blur, eye contact correction, and image filters for improved video calls.
Internally, the device is powered by an 8-core Snapdragon X processor clocked up to 3.0GHz, backed by Qualcomm Adreno GPU and Hexagon NPU for AI acceleration. It comes with 16GB of LPDDR5X onboard RAM and 512GB of eUFS storage. Audio is delivered through stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and the laptop includes dual microphones.
In terms of ports, it offers HDMI 2.1 (supporting 4K at 60Hz), one USB 3.2 Type-A port, two USB 4.0 Type-C ports, a MicroSD card reader, and a headphone/mic combo jack. For security, the Galaxy Book4 Edge is equipped with a fingerprint reader, TPM module, and a security slot.
Battery life is a highlight, with a 61.2 Wh typical capacity battery that Samsung claims can last up to 27 hours on a single charge, using a 65W USB Type-C charger.
Running Windows 11 Home, the laptop integrates Samsung Knox and Microsoft Secured-core PC security features. It also supports advanced AI capabilities via Microsoft Copilot+, including tools like Recall, Live Translate, and Cocreator. Samsung’s Galaxy AI features such as Chat Assist complement the experience, along with Microsoft Phone Link that enables seamless integration and screen mirroring with Samsung Galaxy smartphones.
The Galaxy Book4 Edge 15 is available in Arctic Blue (Sapphire Blue) color and is priced at Rs. 64,990 in India. A launch offer provides a Rs. 5,000 bank cashback, effectively reducing the price to Rs. 59,990.
