Ahead of their official launch on July 9 in New York, a major leak from Chinese tipster Setsuna Digital has revealed key specifications for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. This detailed leak covers everything from display sizes to camera capabilities, offering a comprehensive look at what users can expect from Samsung’s next-generation foldables.

First, let’s focus on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. According to the leak, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, which is expected to deliver top-tier performance. The main display is reported to measure 8 inches, while the cover display will be 6.5 inches, both providing ample screen real estate for multitasking and media consumption. On the camera front, the Z Fold 7 is said to feature a 200-megapixel main camera on the back, a significant upgrade over previous models, and a 10-megapixel camera on both the main and cover displays with a 100-degree field of view.

In terms of design, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is set to be 8.9mm thick when folded and just 4.2mm thick when unfolded, making it one of the slimmest foldables yet. The device will weigh 215 grams and feature an enhanced armored aluminum frame for added durability. The back panel will be made of glass ceramic, adding a premium touch to the overall build. These improvements suggest that Samsung is focusing on making the Z Fold 7 both lighter and more robust, addressing common concerns about foldable phones.

Moving on to the Galaxy Z Flip 7, the leak reveals some exciting upgrades as well. The main display will be 6.9 inches with a 21:9 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits, ensuring vibrant and smooth visuals. The cover display, which has always been a highlight for the Flip series, will now measure 4.1 inches with ultra-thin 1.25mm bezels. This larger cover display will also offer a 120Hz refresh rate and the same impressive peak brightness as the main screen, making it more useful than ever for notifications and quick tasks.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is said to be 13.7mm thick when folded and 6.5mm thick when unfolded, with a weight of 188 grams. The device will pack a 4,300mAh battery, which should provide solid battery life for a phone of this size. While the leak does not mention specific camera details for the Z Flip 7, it’s safe to assume that Samsung will continue to deliver strong camera performance in this segment.

Both the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 are shaping up to be significant upgrades over their predecessors. With slimmer designs, larger and brighter displays, and powerful hardware, these devices are expected to set new standards for foldable smartphones. The official launch event on July 9 will provide the final confirmation and reveal any additional features Samsung has in store for its fans.
