Samsung Rolls Out One UI 6.1.1 Update for Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3

Samsung is swiftly rolling out the One UI 6.1.1 update to its older foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3. Following the recent updates for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, these three-year-old models are now receiving the latest features and enhancements. Currently available in Europe, the update comes with firmware versions F926BXXU8IXH9 for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and F711BXXU9IXH9 for the Galaxy Z Flip 3, boasting a substantial download size of approximately 2.2GB.

While it’s noteworthy that this update does not include any of the new Galaxy AI features introduced in newer models, it still offers several significant enhancements. Users can now answer calls with a simple tap instead of a swipe, and video playback has been improved with a double-tap feature for fast-forwarding. Additionally, the update enhances security with an upgraded Auto Blocker that protects against malware and unwanted downloads, while also allowing users to drag picture-in-picture windows to split-screen views for better multitasking.

The update also brings improvements to Samsung Health, providing more detailed sleep analyses and customized workout routines to help users maintain their fitness goals.
