Sony Xperia 10 VII launched in Europe with Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 and 50MP camera

Sony has launched the Xperia 10 VII in Europe, introducing a fresh new design and major camera upgrades. This mid-range smartphone packs many premium Sony features at a price of 449 euros (around Rs 46,500).

  • Display: The phone has a 6.1-inch OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The aspect ratio is 19.5:9, making the phone easier to hold while keeping a cinematic feel. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
  • Camera: On the back, you’ll find a horizontal pill-shaped camera module with a 50MP main camera and a 13MP ultra-wide camera. There’s also a dedicated shutter button for quick photos, and an 8MP front camera for selfies.
  • Performance: The Xperia 10 VII uses the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip and comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card.
  • Battery: The phone has a 5,000mAh battery that promises up to two days of backup and supports fast charging.
  • Audio & Build: You get stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio and LDAC support, plus a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device is slim (8.3mm), lightweight (about 169 grams), and has IP65/IP68 water and dust resistance ratings.
  • Software: It runs Android 15 out of the box. Sony has promised four years of major updates and six years of security patches. You also get Google’s Circle to Search and Gemini AI features.
