Telecom operator Vodafone Idea (Vi) has officially launched its 5G services in Jaipur, marking the next step in its expanding 5G rollout across India. This launch follows recent 5G deployments in cities like Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bangalore, Mysuru, Chandigarh, Patna, and most recently, Nagpur.

Starting tomorrow, Vi users in Jaipur with 5G-enabled smartphones will be able to experience the next generation of mobile connectivity. As part of an introductory offer, Vi is offering unlimited 5G data for users on recharge plans starting at ₹299, making it a cost-effective gateway into high-speed 5G service.

Vi’s 5G network in Jaipur builds upon its broader deployment strategy to roll out 5G across 23 cities, covering its 17 priority circles where the company has secured 5G spectrum. For its infrastructure rollout, Vi has partnered with Ericsson to implement energy-efficient and AI-driven network technology, including Self-Organizing Networks (SON) that dynamically optimize network performance for speed and stability.

The company has already confirmed that the next wave of rollout will include Pune, Nashik, and Aurangabad, as it continues the systematic expansion of its 5G footprint.

Commenting on the broader rollout strategy, Vi’s Operations Director Rohit Tandon stated during a previous launch event, “With our next-gen 5G alongside our robust 4G services, we aim to provide more options and an enhanced experience to our users. We are committed to systematically expanding our 5G footprint in line with growing demand and 5G handset adoption.”

With this latest launch in Jaipur—the Pink City, Vi is now offering a comprehensive 5G experience that complements its ongoing upgrades to its 4G infrastructure. The dual effort aims to ensure a high-quality, seamless connectivity experience for users across both urban and rural regions.

Users in Jaipur can expect faster speeds, lower latency, and more consistent connectivity as Vi continues to invest in next-generation technologies for India’s growing digital needs.
