Xiaomi 15 Ultra Gets Major HyperOS Update with Filter Bug Fix

Xiaomi has rolled out a significant HyperOS update (version 2.0.215.0.VOACNXM) for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in China, focused on enhancing the camera experience and optimizing system performance. This update, weighing 918MB, comes after extensive internal testing and closed beta feedback, addressing important user complaints while adding new functionalities.

Key Fixes and Improvements

  • Camera Filter Bug Fix: The update resolves a long-standing issue where camera filters would disappear from the viewfinder in certain shooting scenarios, much to the frustration of photographers and content creators.
  • Night Mode Enhancement: The night mode performance sees considerable improvements, promising brighter, clearer, and more detailed photos in low-light conditions.
  • 4K/60fps Video Recording: Previous stuttering and quality inconsistencies during 4K video capture at 60fps have been fixed, ensuring smoother and higher quality video output.

  • Security Update: August 2025 security patches accompany the update, bolstering protection against recent vulnerabilities.
  • Ecosystem Sync Fix: Synchronization issues with Xiaomi’s Mi Body Composition Scale have been addressed, improving the overall ecosystem integration.

Ongoing Beta Issues

Despite these enhancements, some issues remain under review in ongoing beta testing:

  • Photo album crashes on the Xiaomi 14 Pro,
  • Notification panel glitches,
  • QQ floating window malfunctions,
  • Desktop wallpaper rendering delays,
  • Fingerprint animation bugs.

Xiaomi expects to resolve these in future updates.
