Lenovo has confirmed that it will launch the moto X70 Air smartphone in China by the end of October. The company is calling it “Air with AI”, highlighting its slim and lightweight design along with new AI-powered features.
The teaser shows that the phone will have a sleek body with volume and power buttons on the right side, a metal frame, and a rear camera setup with at least two cameras inside a visible bump. The phone was shown in green, but more colors are expected.

At the Snapdragon Summit 2025, Motorola was named as one of the partners for Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip. This means the moto X70 Air could be powered by the latest flagship processor. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is built on TSMC’s N3p process and features Qualcomm’s custom Oryon CPU, with peak clock speeds of 3.8GHz and 3.32GHz. It also shares GPU and IP architecture with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
Apart from this, no other details such as the display, battery, or charging specs are available yet. With the launch still a month away, we can expect more teasers and official announcements soon.
