Apple could unveil its first M5-powered devices as soon as this week, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The company is reportedly preparing to launch an upgraded iPad Pro, a redesigned Vision Pro with a new strap, and the latest entry-level MacBook Pro — all equipped with the next-generation M5 chip.

While Apple previously hinted at an early 2026 release for M5 MacBooks, Gurman now suggests production is already underway. Apple Stores are reportedly running low on M4 MacBook Pro units, signaling the imminent arrival of the new lineup. However, the M5 Pro and M5 Max versions likely won’t ship until early next year.

This October reveal isn’t expected to feature a major Apple event like the recent iPhone 17 launch. Instead, Apple may quietly announce the new devices through online press releases, as it did with the M4 MacBook Pro in 2024.
