Instagram has finally made it easier to find those Reels you watched but forgot to save. The platform is rolling out a Watch History feature that lets you see all the Reels you’ve previously viewed — organized neatly by date, creator, or newest to oldest.

You can access it by heading to Profile → Settings → Your Activity → Watch history. This addition eliminates the need for old workarounds like checking Liked posts or downloading account data.

Announced by Instagram head Adam Mosseri, the feature works similarly to YouTube and TikTok’s watch history tools, ensuring users never lose a recipe, meme, or trending clip again. This update also arrives alongside other improvements, such as customized Reels preferences, as Meta continues to boost Reels engagement to rival TikTok.
