Samsung has officially confirmed key upgrades coming to its 2026 flagship lineup — the Galaxy S26 series. During the brand’s Q3 2025 earnings call, Daniel Araujo, VP of Samsung’s Mobile Experience Division, revealed that the upcoming Galaxy S26 lineup will launch with next-gen AI innovations, a custom-built Exynos processor, and new camera sensors.

While Araujo didn’t explicitly name the Exynos 2600, it’s expected to be the second-generation in-house chip powering select models in the lineup. The Galaxy S26 Ultra, meanwhile, is tipped to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor in key markets, continuing Samsung’s dual-chip strategy.

The Exynos 2600, rumored to be built on a 2nm Gate-All-Around process, recently recorded over 11,000 points in Geekbench multi-core testing — suggesting a major leap in efficiency and performance. Reports also hint at a new in-house connectivity chip debuting alongside it.

Beyond performance, Samsung says the Galaxy S26 series will deliver a more “user-centric” AI experience, building upon its Galaxy AI features introduced earlier this year. Upgraded camera sensors are also planned, though details remain under wraps.

Samsung’s 2025 earnings highlights also pointed to expanding its foldable lineup and enhancing AI-powered health tools across its Galaxy Watch and TWS range. With the launch expected between February and March 2026, fans can expect the Galaxy S26 lineup to mark a strong AI-forward start to the year.
