OnePlus has begun rolling out the long-awaited Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 update for the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13s in India. The new update brings a refreshed design, smarter AI features, smoother animations, and several customization options aimed at enhancing the overall user experience.
Refreshed UI and Personalization
The OxygenOS 16 update introduces a major visual revamp with Flux Themes 2.0, offering dynamic wallpapers, translucent clock styles, and new icon designs. Users will also find AI-generated wallpapers, depth effects, and other visual enhancements that make the interface feel more fluid and responsive.
AI and Performance Enhancements
OxygenOS 16 integrates new AI-powered features like AI Writing, AI Scan, and Gemini and Plus Mind integration, designed to make everyday tasks faster and more intuitive. The update also brings Parallel Processing 2.0, which boosts performance and makes app transitions feel smoother across the system.
In addition, the update includes several Android 16 security and privacy improvements, such as the new Secure Power-Off and Privacy Dashboard.
Improved Ecosystem Connectivity
With the update, OnePlus users can enjoy an enhanced O+ Connect experience, which allows for wireless file sharing, remote desktop access, and app mirroring between compatible devices.
Gradual Rollout
The update is rolling out in phases, meaning it might take a few days before it reaches all users. OnePlus 13 users are getting version CPH2649_16.0.0.210(EX01), while the OnePlus 13s is receiving CPH2723_16.0.0.211(EX01).
To check for the update manually, head to Settings → System & Update → Software Update.
Looking Ahead
