OPPO has officially started rolling out the Android 16-based ColorOS 16 update for its flagship smartphones — the Find X8, Find X8 Pro, and Find N5. The update is now reaching global units, though it’s being released gradually in batches, meaning not all regions will get it right away.

ColorOS 16 introduces a major system-wide refresh with smoother animations, more fluid transitions, and an overall snappier experience. The upgraded Trinity Engine enhances performance across the board, offering faster app launches, smoother scrolling, and improved touch responsiveness.

OPPO has also packed in several new AI-powered features, including AI Portrait Glow, AI Eraser, Master Cut, and AI Mind Space, along with an enhanced Always-On Display and new motion wallpapers using AI depth effects.

Another highlight is the integration of Google’s Gemini Live, allowing for real-time contextual AI interactions. On top of that, OPPO has made noticeable improvements to privacy and security, further polishing the user experience.

This is a significant update for OPPO’s flagship lineup, marking the brand’s first major Android 16 rollout globally.
