realme has announced the launch of its new smartphone, the realme C85 5G, in India on November 28. This latest addition to the realme C series succeeds the C75 5G and is designed with long battery life and durability in mind. It features a massive 7000mAh battery promising up to two days of use, supported by 45W fast charging and 6.5W reverse wired charging. The device is rated IP69 Pro for dust and water resistance, protecting against 36 types of liquids, and can withstand temperatures up to 85° C. It meets military-grade durability standards (MIL-STD 810H), capable of surviving drops from up to 2 meters.
The realme C85 5G boasts a large 6.8-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness up to 1200 nits, delivering vivid visuals with 400% ultra volume sound. Photography is handled by a 50MP rear camera paired with AI Edit Genie for enhanced photo editing. Powered by the Dimensity 6300 chipset, the phone was earlier launched in markets like the Philippines.
Additionally, realme has started teasing the upcoming launch of the realme P4x 5G, expected soon after the C85 release. More details on that are anticipated in the coming days. The realme C85 5G will be available for purchase through Flipkart and realme’s online store in India.
