The producer of Now You See Me 4, Bobby Cohen, has confirmed that the upcoming movie will serve as a “reset” for the franchise’s narrative. Following the events of Now You See Me 3, the story will shift to show the Horsemen no longer operating as fugitives. Instead, they will perform openly in front of large crowds, focusing on their skills, crime-fighting abilities, and stage presence. Cohen described this as getting “back to that rock and roll, super band” vibe, putting on great shows for thrilled audiences.

Lionsgate greenlit Now You See Me 4 seven months before the release of the third movie, signaling confidence in the story’s continuation. Cohen emphasized that the production timeline will be faster compared to the long nine-year gap between the second and third films. He also mentioned that the filmmakers and Lionsgate worked proactively to advance the franchise without delays. The director Ruben Fleischer is expected to return for the fourth installment, with talks of expanding Mark Ruffalo’s role as Dylan Rhodes. This reset offers an opportunity to explore new dynamics within the cast and revitalizes the series for audiences.
