Apple has announced that its wellness subscription service, Apple Fitness+, will officially launch in India on December 15, 2025. This marks a significant expansion as the platform becomes available in a total of 49 countries and regions worldwide, five years after its initial launch in 2020.
Apple Fitness+ offers a variety of workout options, including Strength training, HIIT, Yoga, Pilates, Dance, Cycling, Kickboxing, and Meditation, with session lengths ranging from 5 to 45 minutes. Users can access workouts across iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. A standout feature is its deep integration with the Apple ecosystem: when using an Apple Watch or AirPods Pro 3, personalized fitness metrics like heart rate, calories burned, and progress on Activity Rings appear live on the screen. The interactive “Burn Bar” compares your effort with others’ anonymized data for motivation.
To personalize the experience, users can create Custom Plans tailored to their fitness goals, preferred trainers, and music tastes. Apple Music integration brings popular music genres, including the newly added K-Pop playlist, alongside favorites like Hip-Hop, Latin, and Upbeat Anthems.

Beyond traditional workouts, Apple Fitness+ includes unique content such as:
- Time to Walk: Guided audio walks with stories and music from celebrities and influencers, including Formula 1 driver Yuki Tsunoda.
- Artist Spotlight: Workout playlists dedicated to artists like Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, BTS, and Coldplay.
- Collections: Curated workout series aimed at goals like running your first 5K or pilates challenges.
- Meditation: Twelve meditation themes focusing on calm, sleep, and mindfulness.
In India, subscriptions will cost INR 149 per month or INR 999 per year and can be shared with up to five family members through Family Sharing. Apple also offers three months of Fitness+ free with purchases of eligible devices like Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, AirPods Pro 3, or Powerbeats Pro 2.
To use the service, users will need an iPhone 8 or later running iOS 16.1 or an Apple Watch Series 3 or later paired with an iPhone 6s or later.
Along with India, the service will launch in multiple countries, including Chile, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Norway, and Singapore. Language options will expand, with German and Spanish dubbing becoming available on December 15, and Japanese dubbing arriving early next year.
Apple Fitness+ is set to empower users in India with a holistic and interactive fitness experience integrated across Apple devices.
