Instagram now enables Reels dubbing in 6 Indian languages including Tamil and Bengali, expanding accessibility for creators nationwide.
AI-Powered Reels Dubbing Rolls Out

Meta’s latest update lets Instagram and Facebook creators dub Reels into five new Indian languages: Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Marathi—joining English and Hindi. Powered by Meta AI, the tool maintains the original voice, tone, and lip-sync for natural playback, helping content reach wider audiences across India and globally.
New Fonts for Devanagari and Bengali Scripts
Creators gain access to fresh fonts supporting Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, and Assamese scripts in Instagram Edits. To use them, tap “Text” in the editing timeline, hit the “Aa” icon, and filter by language—devices set to Devanagari or Bengali-Assamese show them by default.
Additional Creator Tools Boost Workflow
Recent Meta updates include restyling Stories with AI, bulk caption editing, video reversal, photo animation via lip-sync, and 400+ new sound effects.
