Leaked information from reliable source Digital Chat Station suggests exciting updates for the upcoming Vivo X Fold3 foldable phone.

Lighter Design and New Camera Layout:

The X Fold3 is expected to be the lightest foldable phone yet, surpassing the current champion, the Honor Magic V2. Additionally, the leak hints at a thinner profile compared to its predecessor. The camera design also sees a slight revamp, with the flash being moved to the right side and ZEISS branding now integrated within the camera module.

Performance and Camera Upgrades:

The X Fold3 is rumored to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a significant upgrade from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 found in the X Fold2. The camera department is also receiving an overhaul, with the 50MP main sensor potentially being retained, but accompanied by a new 50MP ultrawide camera and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera.

Enhanced Imaging Capabilities:

The leak further suggests that the X Fold3 will utilize Vivo’s custom V3 imaging chip and support 4K video recording at 60fps. These upgrades, combined with the new camera setup, are claimed to make the X Fold3 the most powerful foldable phone in terms of camera capabilities, potentially matching the performance of the Vivo X100 series.

Possible Launch Window:

Since Vivo launched its first foldable phones in April 2023, speculation suggests a similar timeframe for the X Fold3’s release. We can potentially expect the phone to be unveiled sometime in April 2024.

It’s important to note that this information is based on leaks and has not been officially confirmed by Vivo. However, given Digital Chat Station’s reliable track record, these details offer a promising glimpse into the potential features of the Vivo X Fold3.
