WhatsApp, the popular messaging app, has expanded its text formatting capabilities with four new features, making it easier and more efficient for users to organize and communicate within chats. These new options join the existing Bold, Italic, Strikethrough, and Monospace formatting, offering greater flexibility for crafting messages, especially in group conversations.

Bulleted Lists: Perfect for outlining steps in a process, listing ingredients, or summarizing key points. Simply type a hyphen (-) followed by a space to create a bullet point.
Numbered Lists: Ideal for presenting information in a specific order, like instructions or event recaps. Type a number (1-99) followed by a period and space to start a numbered list.
Block Quotes: Highlight important text and make it stand out by typing a greater-than symbol (>) followed by a space before the quoted text.
Inline Code: Distinguish specific information within a sentence, like code snippets or technical terms, by wrapping the text with backticks (`).
These four new whatsapp text formatting options are now available to all users on Android, iOS, Web, and Mac desktop applications. Channel admins can also utilize these features to enhance communication within their groups.
This update brings WhatsApp closer to other messaging platforms that offer similar formatting options.
