Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of its flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 14, in India on March 7th, following after the global launch at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) later this month. The Xiaomi 14, which was first introduced in China, features a 6.36-inch 1.5K OLED flat 120Hz LTPO panel with a peak brightness of 3000 nits, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, and a triple 50MP rear camera setup with Leica Summilux lens.

The Xiaomi 14 is expected to start from an 8GB + 256GB model, and there are rumors about the launch of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in India as well, but the Xiaomi 14 Pro is not expected. The standard model is anticipated to be priced under Rs 50,000, while the Xiaomi 14 Pro may command a price tag under Rs 80,000.

The Xiaomi 14 offers a 4,610mAh battery with 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, as well as reverse wireless charging. It also features an IP68 water and dust resistance rating and runs on Android 14 out of the box.

While the Indian launch will likely only see the standard Xiaomi 14, users in China can look forward to the even more impressive Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which boasts a 1-inch 50MP Sony LYT900 sensor with an f/1.63 aperture and Leica Summilux optical lens, along with dual telephoto cameras using 50MP Sony IMX858 sensors for unmatched zoom capabilities.

Xiaomi is set to launch the Xiaomi 14 in India on March 7th, with the standard model expected to be priced under Rs 50,000. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which offers more advanced camera capabilities, is expected to launch in China but not in India. The Xiaomi 14 Pro is not expected to launch in India.
