Nothing has officially confirmed that its next flagship smartphone, the Nothing Phone (3), will launch in July 2025. This announcement marks a significant step for the company as it aims to enter the premium smartphone segment with its “first true flagship” device. CEO Carl Pei has described the Phone (3) as a major leap forward for the brand, promising premium materials, substantial performance improvements, and software enhancements that are expected to deliver a superior user experience. The device will also showcase Nothing’s continued focus on design innovation and a close integration with Android, aiming to bring originality and joy back to the smartphone category.
At a recent appearance on The Android Show: I/O Edition, Pei confirmed that the Nothing Phone (3) will be priced at around 800 GBP (approximately USD 1,064 or Rs. 90,510), positioning it well above the previous Nothing Phone (2), which launched at 629 GBP (USD 836 or Rs. 71,185) and was priced at Rs. 49,999 in India. This substantial price increase signals Nothing’s intention to compete directly with established flagship brands like Apple and Samsung.
While the company has not yet revealed the exact launch date or full specifications, early reports suggest that the Nothing Phone (3) will likely feature a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, possibly the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, and a redesigned triple rear camera system with a periscope-style telephoto lens—a first for the brand. The device is also expected to include advanced AI features and will likely start with a 12GB + 256GB model.
As anticipation builds, Nothing is expected to continue its tradition of gradually unveiling more details in the weeks leading up to the official launch. Fans and industry watchers can look forward to more announcements soon, as the company prepares to make its boldest entry yet into the flagship smartphone market.
