Apple is gearing up to launch the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air with a total of nine color options, according to fresh leaks from trusted sources and accessory makers preparing for the new models’ release.

  • Black
  • Silver
  • Blue
  • Green
  • Purple

This palette marks a shift from the iPhone 16 lineup, which featured pink and teal; those colors are being replaced by green and purple, adding a fresh and polished look to the base model.

iPhone 17 Air Colors: Four Elegant Tones

The iPhone 17 Air, Apple’s ultra-slim new model, is expected to come in four colors:

  • Black
  • Silver
  • Gold (Light Gold)
  • Blue (Light Blue / Sky Blue)

The Air’s color options lean toward softer, more muted tones to balance a playful yet professional aesthetic. The Light Blue shade is particularly notable, said to be inspired by the Sky Blue finish introduced on the latest MacBook Air M4, offering a modern and subtle hue.

Accessory Makers Confirm Colors

A Korean leaker known as “yeux1122” revealed that accessory manufacturers have started producing camera protector rings matching these colors, reinforcing the authenticity of the leaks. Images of these camera rings in all the rumored colors have surfaced, providing a tangible preview of the upcoming finishes.

What About the Pro Models?

While color details for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max remain limited, leaks suggest Apple may introduce a new Sky Blue color for the Pro lineup, possibly matching the MacBook Air’s shade. Additionally, the Pro models are rumored to feature an aluminum frame instead of titanium and a “part aluminum, part glass” rear design, which could lead to new color possibilities.

Launch Timeline

All models—the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, and Pro variants—are expected to debut at Apple’s fall event in September 2025, with these color options helping to differentiate the lineup and appeal to a wide range of users.
