Apple has launched AppleCare One, a new subscription service priced at $19.99 per month that simplifies device protection by covering up to three Apple devices under a single plan. For $5.99 per month, users can add additional devices. This plan bundles all the benefits of AppleCare+, including unlimited accidental damage repairs, battery coverage, and 24/7 priority support from Apple experts.
A major innovation with AppleCare One is that it allows users to add eligible devices up to four years old, significantly extending the enrollment window beyond the earlier 60-day limit of AppleCare+. However, older devices must be in “good condition,” and Apple may perform diagnostic checks before adding them. Headphones can only be added if they are less than one year old. AppleCare One also extends theft and loss protection, previously limited mostly to iPhones, to include iPads and Apple Watches.
The plan offers cost savings for multi-device users—bundling an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch can save up to $11 per month compared to buying separate AppleCare+ plans. It also provides flexibility: if a covered device is traded in at Apple, the subscription automatically transfers to the new product. Users can manage their plan easily, adding or removing devices without annual commitments.
AppleCare One launches in the US starting July 24, 2025, with enrollment available via iPhone, iPad, Mac, apple.com, or Apple Store locations. This new service aligns with Apple’s broader push to expand its services ecosystem by offering more comprehensive, flexible, and convenient coverage for its product lineup including iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, and eligible headphones.
This subscription reflects a shift in Apple’s approach to device protection, making it more affordable and accessible, especially for users with multiple Apple products or older devices outside the usual warranty periods.
