Xiaomi Launches TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) with HDR10+, Dolby Vision & Google TV

Xiaomi has unveiled the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) in global markets, featuring notable upgrades over the previous version launched in India in 2023. The device sports a sleek, rounded black design, weighs just 44 grams, and delivers 4K Ultra HD output with support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, enhancing the visual experience significantly compared to its predecessor, which lacked HDR10+.

Powered by a 6nm quad-core Cortex-A55 processor paired with an ARM G310 V2 GPU, the new TV Stick offers an 80% boost in CPU performance and a 150% increase in GPU performance from the original model. It comes with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage and runs Google TV OS, supporting Google Assistant voice commands and Google Cast for seamless content casting from smartphones and tablets.

Audio features include Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support with professional decoding, delivering immersive panoramic surround sound and virtual height channels. The TV Stick also includes Xiaomi TV+, a free live TV streaming platform without a subscription, alongside pre-installed apps like Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube.

Connectivity options encompass Wi-Fi 6 (dual-band), Bluetooth 5.2, HDMI 2.1, and a Micro USB port for power. The device comes with a 360° Bluetooth voice remote control, allowing users to operate it from multiple angles easily.

While Xiaomi has not confirmed official global pricing, the TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) is currently listed on AliExpress for a discounted price of about GBP 40.37 (approximately USD 55 or INR 4,725).
