Lenovo has launched the new Idea Tab tablet in India, building on the recent release of the Idea Tab Pro. The Idea Tab features an 11-inch 2.5K (2560×1600) IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 500 nits brightness, TÜV eye care certification, and an anti-fingerprint coating, providing a vibrant and smooth viewing experience. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor, supported by 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.
Running on Android 15 with Lenovo’s ZUI 17 skin, the device promises 2 OS upgrades and 4 years of security updates, ensuring long-term software support. The Lenovo Idea Tab offers both Wi-Fi-only and 5G-enabled variants, catering to different connectivity needs. It is equipped with quad Dolby Atmos-tuned speakers for immersive audio, a 7040mAh battery with 20W charging support, and features a 3.5mm audio jack.

The tablet comes with a Lenovo Tab Pen or Tab Pen Plus stylus as optional accessories, alongside a folio keyboard option, making it versatile for productivity and creative tasks. Lenovo claims its TurboSystem technology enhances multitasking efficiency by speeding up app switching and keeping them active in memory longer.
In terms of design, the Idea Tab is slim at 6.9mm thickness and weighs around 480 grams, available in Luna Grey color. Camera specs include an 8MP autofocus rear camera and a 5MP front camera with fixed focus.
Pricing starts at ₹16,999 for the Wi-Fi + Pen variant and ₹19,999 for the 5G + Pen variant. The tablet is available through Lenovo India’s official website, Amazon.in, and other offline channels.
