Oppo Reno 15 Series Display Leak Hints at New Mini Model and Two Others

Oppo is reportedly preparing to expand its popular Reno series with the upcoming Reno 15 lineup, which may feature three different models with distinct screen sizes — a first in the Reno series history. Recent leaks shared by tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) on Weibo reveal Oppo is testing 6.3-inch, 6.59-inch, and 6.78-inch flat display panels for the new Reno 15 lineup, signaling the launch of three smartphones expected to debut in China around November 2025.

Three Screen Sizes, One New Compact Model

Traditionally, Oppo Reno phones have been released in just two variants: standard and Pro. However, the Reno 15 series looks set to break this trend by including a third model with a 6.3-inch screen size, marking the first compact device in the Reno lineup. This smaller variant aligns with growing consumer demand in 2025 for compact smartphones, as seen with other recent devices like the Vivo X200 FE and OnePlus 13s.

According to DCS’s leaks, the 6.3-inch model could either serve as the base model or possibly a mid-tier Reno 15 Mini, sitting between the standard and Pro versions. Meanwhile, the larger 6.59-inch and 6.78-inch models align with the classic standard and Pro sizes from the Reno 13 and 14 series.

Expected Specifications

While few details beyond the screen sizes are confirmed, some information about the Reno 15 Pro model has surfaced:

  • It is expected to feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display.
  • Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor.
  • It may be the first Reno device to sport a 200 MP Samsung HP5 main camera sensor, paired with an ultra-wide lens and a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera.

For the 6.3-inch compact variant, details are sparse, but leaks suggest it will have a metal mid-frame and a periscope camera lens, indicating premium features despite the smaller size.

All three Reno 15 devices are expected to come with flat display panels, marking a consistency in design across the lineup.

Market Position and Launch Timeline

Oppo’s move toward a broader lineup with a compact option shows its intention to cater to a more diverse range of users, especially those looking for powerful yet pocket-friendly smartphones. The addition of a periscope camera and high-resolution sensor highlights Oppo’s commitment to flagship-level photography in the Reno 15 series.

The Reno 15 series is anticipated to be unveiled in China this November 2025, with more information expected closer to the launch date.
