OPPO is gearing up to launch the Find X9 series, and the company has revealed that the new phones will have even narrower screen bezels than the Find X8s. According to OPPO’s Find series head Zhou Yibao, the Find X9 will have the narrowest physical borders on all four sides in the series so far, even slimmer than the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max and Meizu 22.
Zhou shared a comparison showing the Find X8s with 1.25mm bezels, iPhone 16 Pro Max with 1.34mm bezels, and teased that the Find X9 will break these records. This shows OPPO’s continued investment in screen technology to achieve sleek designs with Golden R angle and Golden size for perfect corners and thin edges.

Besides the display, the Find X9 series will also standardize the Danxia lens, a technology that improves color accuracy across different lighting conditions. This lens was previously limited to the Ultra models but will now be available on all Find X9 phones.
The Find X9 was recently spotted on Geekbench with a Dimensity 9500 processor, 16GB RAM, and Android 16 with ColorOS 16. It features a 6.59-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED screen, up to 512GB storage, and a rectangular camera module replacing the circular design from the Find X8 series.
OPPO promises excellent battery life along with powerful performance, making the Find X9 a strong contender in the premium smartphone market this year.
