Redmi is gearing up to launch its new Android tablet, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro, expected on September 24, 2025, alongside the Xiaomi 15T series. Promotional materials leaked online reveal the tablet’s major specifications and features, highlighting a 12.1-inch 2.5K 120Hz LCD display with TÜV Rheinland eye comfort certifications.
Powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro pairs 6GB RAM with 128GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD. It runs Xiaomi’s Hyper OS 2 based on Android 16 out of the box.

One of the standout highlights is its massive 12,000mAh battery supporting 33W fast wired charging and 27W reverse wired charging. The tablet boasts a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos sound enhancement, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a software toggle that boosts volume output by 300%.

On the imaging front, the tablet features an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera, suitable for casual photos and video calls.
The Redmi Pad 2 Pro will come in a Graphite Gray color and is expected to launch globally, including in India and the UAE. Accessories like a keyboard cover and stylus pen are also expected to be available.
