OPPO has officially announced the launch date for its Find X9 series smartphones — the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro — which will be unveiled in China on October 16, 2025. These phones will be among the first to come equipped with the powerful new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 flagship chipset, promising impressive performance and efficiency.
The Find X9 series will also be the first to run OPPO’s new ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, with the OS debut scheduled for October 15, one day before the phone launch.
Advanced Display with Eye Protection
The OPPO Find X9 introduces a new Tianma display focused on “super eye protection.” It features full-brightness flicker-free dimming and high-frequency PWM dimming that goes beyond industry standards to reduce harmful blue light exposure to just 4.7%. This technology helps reduce eye strain, even during prolonged usage late at night. The screen supports true 1nit brightness in all scenarios, offers soft light without glare, and exceeds Apple’s iPhone in display uniformity. It also includes new AI-powered active eye protection capabilities and can reach a peak brightness of 3600 nits, making it perfect for both bright and dark environments.
Large Battery and Strong Performance
The Find X9 is equipped with a large 7025mAh battery, while the Find X9 Pro offers an even bigger 7500mAh battery for longer usage. OPPO’s close collaboration with MediaTek has resulted in the integration of the Dimensity 9500 chip with the Tidal Engine, delivering enhanced performance and thermal management.
Impressive Camera System
Photography is a highlight of the series. The Find X9 Pro features an LYT-828 sensor and is the first phone to offer hardware dynamic triple exposure support. It includes a powerful 200MP ultra-clear telephoto lens for high-resolution imaging. Both phones feature the “Hasselblad 8K Ultra HD Photo” capability that supports direct 8K photo output across all focal lengths. OPPO has partnered with Hasselblad to design a custom imaging kit for the Pro model, while the standard edition includes specially designed imaging accessories.
The Find X9 series also utilizes OPPO’s advanced LUMO super-pixel engine and Danxia color restoration lens technology, which enhances color accuracy in various conditions including low light and pure color scenes.
Sleek Design and Key Specs
The phones feature ultra-narrow bezels, with the Find X9 series having some of the narrowest physical four-sided borders in the industry. The camera setup moves from previous circular design to a modern rectangular camera module on the top left corner. The display is a 6.59-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED panel supporting rich visuals and smooth scrolling.
The phones run Android 16 with ColorOS 16 and offer up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage, catering to power users.
