Disney is set to increase the monthly subscription prices for most of its streaming services, including Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN, starting October 21, 2025. This marks the latest in a series of yearly price hikes for Disney’s streaming platforms.

For existing subscribers, the price increase will be reflected on bills from October 21 onward, while new users will pay the new rates when they sign up from that date. Legacy subscribers with the Disney Plus Premium, Hulu, ESPN Select bundle will see their monthly bill rise from $22 to $25. The Hulu Plus Live TV legacy plan’s monthly fee will increase from $88 to $95. However, Hulu’s ad-free plan, the ad-free Disney Duo bundle, and new bundles including ESPN Unlimited will not see a price change.

Here’s a breakdown of the new monthly prices effective October 2025:

PlanPrice With AdsPrice Without Ads
Disney Plus$12$19
Hulu$12
ESPN Select$13
Disney Plus + Hulu bundle$11
Disney Plus + Hulu + ESPN Select bundle$20$30
Disney Plus + Hulu + HBO Max bundle$20$33
Hulu Plus Live TV (w/ Disney Plus, ESPN Select)$90$100

With these changes, Disney’s on-demand streaming service prices will align with competitors like Peacock, Apple TV Plus, and HBO Max, while its live TV platform Hulu Plus Live TV will be priced higher than rivals like YouTube TV but still competitive with cable TV without contracts.

These updates come amid subscriber growth but also controversy following the suspension and reinstatement of Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show and backlash from some subscribers.

Disney has steadily raised streaming prices since launching Disney Plus in 2019, reflecting rising production and licensing costs in the competitive streaming market. Consumers may need to reassess their streaming subscriptions amid these ongoing cost increases.

Subscribers should check their emails or Disney’s support pages for information on whether their specific plans are affected by these price adjustments.
