Samsung is rolling out major updates to its most popular Good Lock modules—including Home Up, MultiStar, NavStar, and QuickStar—ensuring they are fully compatible with the latest One UI 8. This update comes just as the new Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip 7 FE become the first to ship with One UI 8, setting the stage for a broader rollout to more Galaxy devices in the near future.
What’s New in Good Lock’s One UI 8 Modules?
Home Up: Deeper Home Screen Customization
The Home Up module—the heart of Samsung’s advanced home screen personalization—now receives a particularly substantial upgrade for One UI 8:

- DIY Home Screen Improvements: New alignment guide lines for precise icon, widget, and sticker placement, item grouping and edit lock to prevent accidental changes, and the ability to hide page indicators for a cleaner look.
- Animation Fine-Tuning: Full control over app launch animations, including their transparency, speed, animation curves, and corner transformations, as well as how wallpaper and background transitions behave.
- Horizontal Scrolling: Now available in the app drawer’s alphabetical order mode.
- Quick Access Pop-up: For fast navigation and management of home settings.
MultiStar: Smarter Multi-Window and Flip Features
With its new v10.0.32 update, MultiStar is bringing:

- Launcher widget support for the Galaxy Flip 7, letting users add app widgets to the cover display.
- All-device settings: Easily switch between full, landscape, and portrait screen sizes using a new icon, and adjust portrait mode ratios (16:9 or 21:9) for smoother multitasking experiences.
NavStar & QuickStar: Enhanced UI Tweaks
Both NavStar and QuickStar have been updated for One UI 8, offering:

- Cleaner design and smoother performance
- Fresh customizations: NavStar allows you to further personalize navigation buttons, while QuickStar adds flexibility for changing the quick panel’s layout, icons, and even hiding specific items.
