Google has significantly expanded the reach of its Gemini AI platform, debuting advanced AI features across Samsung’s latest foldables—the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7—and the new Galaxy Watch8 series, all announced at Galaxy Unpacked 2025. These devices are the first to ship with Android 16 and Wear OS 6, marking a new era of deep AI integration across mobile and wearable devices.
Circle to Search: AI Mode and Gaming Support

Circle to Search now comes with an AI Mode, allowing users to tackle complex queries without switching apps. By long-pressing the home button or navigation bar, users can circle, tap, or gesture over anything on their screen to receive an AI Overview, then dive deeper with follow-up questions. This feature, available through Google Lens in the Google app on Android and iOS, is rolling out in the U.S. and India, with global expansion underway.
For gamers, Circle to Search now provides in-game tips, guides, and timestamped videos by simply circling characters or items—no need to pause or exit gameplay.
Gemini Live: Enhanced Screen and Camera Sharing

On the Galaxy Z Fold7, users can long-press the power button to share their screen with Gemini Live, enabling real-time assistance while multitasking. The Z Flip7 introduces hands-free camera sharing in Flex Mode, turning the device into a tripod for tasks like styling or DIY, and supports quick AI help through the FlexWindow—without even opening the phone.
Gemini now integrates with Samsung apps like Calendar, Reminder, and Notes, letting users scan posters or manage events without leaving their current app.
Galaxy Watch8: Wear OS 6 and Gemini AI

The Galaxy Watch8 is the first smartwatch to ship with Wear OS 6 and comes with Gemini AI pre-installed. This delivers faster performance, smoother scrolling, and more responsive transitions. Users can interact with Gemini using voice commands to manage tasks, access information, and control Samsung Health, Calendar, Reminder, and Clock—even without their phone nearby.
Gemini enables hands-free operation for messaging, navigation, workouts, and more, making the Watch8 a powerful AI-driven companion for daily routines and wellness tracking.
