Google Maps now lets users delete their past incident reports like crashes, construction, or police sightings directly from the app. The feature appears in version 26.04.01 under Settings > Location & Privacy, allowing bulk removal of historical contributions while live reports expire naturally.
How It Works

Access via profile icon > Settings > Location & Privacy to trigger a prompt clearing all non-active reports tied to your account. This addresses privacy concerns for crowdsourced data shared during navigation, complementing Waze integration since Google’s 2013 acquisition.
Additional Updates
Profile headers match the Contribute tab’s color scheme, and bio input shows only for new users via Edit profile. Incident reporting remains simple—tap the Report button while navigating to flag issues visible to nearby drivers.
