Lava Blaze Dragon 5G with 6.75″ 120Hz Display & Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Launched

Lava has launched the Blaze Dragon 5G, a budget 5G smartphone in India, priced at Rs. 9,999 for the single 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The device features a 6.745-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 450 nits peak brightness. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC built on a 4nm process, with an octa-core CPU configuration (2x 2.2 GHz Cortex-A78 + 6x 2 GHz Cortex-A55) and an Adreno 613 GPU.

The phone comes with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM plus an additional 4GB of virtual RAM through RAM expansion, and 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card. It runs a clean version of Android 15 without bloatware and will receive one major Android update plus two years of security patches.

Photography is handled by a 50MP primary rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera in a punch-hole cutout. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/GLONASS, and USB Type-C port.

The device packs a large 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging and also offers reverse charging. Lava offers Free Service@Home pan India and has retail stores for user support.

The Lava Blaze Dragon 5G will be available starting August 1 on Amazon India in Golden Mist and Midnight Mist colors. Launch offers include a Rs. 1,000 bank discount and an additional Rs. 1,000 off on exchange.
