A fresh leak from the One UI 8.5 beta reveals Samsung’s “Now Nudge” feature, a Galaxy AI tool that monitors on-screen activity in real-time to offer contextual suggestions, boosting daily productivity on Galaxy devices.
How Now Nudge Works
Powered by Samsung’s in-house Galaxy AI, Now Nudge scans what’s on your screen and provides proactive prompts to streamline tasks, such as autofilling online forms or suggesting “Open Calendar” during appointment chats in messaging apps. It reduces app-switching by integrating deeply into the system, making interactions feel more intuitive and responsive. Early previews show it handling scenarios like ridesharing bookings, flight checks, government services, location searches, medical info, phone functions, and movie details.
Rollout and Expectations
One UI 8.5 is in beta testing, with a stable release slated alongside the Galaxy S26 series launch later this month. While the feature’s full scope may evolve, it positions Samsung to deliver one of the most practical AI enhancements yet, transforming routine smartphone use. Users on compatible Galaxy devices can anticipate these updates soon via the ongoing beta program.
