OnePlus has begun rolling out the OxygenOS 15.0.2.501 update for the OnePlus 13s in India, introducing key feature upgrades and improvements. The update, identified as version CPH2723_15.0.2.501(EX01), is being released incrementally, with a limited number of users receiving it first before a broader rollout in the coming days.
Among the major enhancements is an upgraded Split View function. The feature now removes fixed ratio limits, allowing users to freely adjust the split between two apps. In landscape mode, the divider can be dragged to resize apps on the screen. Notifications in landscape have also been streamlined into simpler banner alerts to reduce interruptions; swiping down on a banner instantly opens the app in a floating window.
The update also introduces BeaconLink, a new offline communication tool that enables sending text, image, and voice messages to nearby devices without the need for an internet connection. BeaconLink can be accessed via Settings > Mobile network > BeaconLink.
Other refinements include smoother animations for opening, repositioning, and resizing floating windows, as well as new options for bug reporting. Users can now submit bug reports directly from the OnePlus Community App under the Bug Report section, or by dialing *#800# to launch the feedback tool.
Since this is an incremental OTA update, OnePlus advises that only a small percentage of device owners will receive it today, with wider availability planned once stability is confirmed.
