OPPO has officially announced the launch of its K13 Turbo series in India, scheduled for August 11, 2025. The lineup includes the K13 Turbo and the K13 Turbo Pro, both targeting mobile gamers, creators, and power users with a promise to redefine the under ₹40,000 segment in India.
Performance and Gaming-Focused Features
The K13 Turbo series introduces an integrated active cooling fan, making it the only smartphone in India equipped with such a feature. This is part of OPPO’s proprietary “Storm Engine” thermal solution, which combines a variable-speed fan, a 7,000mm² vapor chamber, and a large duct system designed for optimal heat dissipation. Notably, the phone’s cooling system can sustain operating temperatures 2–4°C lower during demanding gaming sessions like BGMI, preventing thermal throttling and maintaining consistent performance throughout heavy loads.
Power and Design
- K13 Turbo Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC and boasts an AnTuTu benchmark score exceeding 2.2 million, positioning it among the most powerful devices in its class.
- K13 Turbo runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 SoC.
- Both models feature a large 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, and a 6.8-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display.
- The design is racing-inspired, with color options for the Pro including Silver Knight, Purple Phantom, and Midnight Maverick. The standard K13 Turbo comes in Purple Phantom, Midnight Maverick, and White Knight.
- Around the cooling fan on the back, there are 2 mist shadow breathing LEDs supporting 8 colors for the Pro variant.
