Microsoft and LG have teamed up to bring Xbox gaming directly to your car’s infotainment system through LG’s webOS Automotive Content Platform (ACP). This innovative feature lets passengers stream and play Xbox games right from the car’s screen using Xbox Cloud Gaming. To use the service, players will need an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, a compatible Bluetooth controller, and a stable internet connection.

Several popular games such as Gears of War: Reloaded, Forza Horizon 5, Doom: The Dark Ages, and upcoming titles like The Outer Worlds 2 will be available to play while on the move. This is a great entertainment option for passengers on long trips or electric vehicle owners waiting for their car to charge.

The service is currently available in some vehicles like the Kia EV3 in Europe, and will soon come to more models including the Kia EV4, EV5, and Sportage, as well as brands like Genesis and Hyundai using LG’s ACP technology.

Besides gaming, LG is also introducing a native Zoom app for in-car video conferencing, enabling safer and distraction-reduced collaboration while on the go.

Overall, this partnership expands gaming beyond traditional devices, allowing Xbox players to enjoy their favorite titles anywhere, even inside their cars.
