realme is set to make a splash at its realme 828 Fan Festival tomorrow (August 27) with the introduction of a groundbreaking smartphone boasting the world’s largest-ever 15,000mAh battery. After weeks of teasers, the company has now confirmed the launch and revealed more details about this ambitious device.
World’s Largest Smartphone Battery
The upcoming phone packs a massive 15,000mAh battery, dwarfing standard smartphone batteries in the 4,000–6,000mAh range. According to realme, the phone will deliver:
- Up to 18.45 hours of continuous video shooting
- Up to 50 hours of video playback
- Over 5 days (5.18 days) of regular usage on a single charge
This makes it an ideal device for power users, travelers, and content creators who need serious endurance without frequent charging.
At the same time, industry tipster Digital Chat Station noted that the 15,000mAh model is currently a prototype, meaning mass production may take more time. However, the 10,000mAh battery phone showcased last year is already ready for commercial manufacturing.
AC-Inspired Active Cooling System
Alongside the battery breakthrough, realme is also pushing innovation in thermal management. The company’s new AC-inspired cooling system will allow users to activate a cooling fan with a switch — like turning on an air conditioner.

According to Chase Xu, Vice President of realme and President of Global Marketing, this setup reduces the device’s temperature by up to 6°C, ensuring consistent performance during demanding tasks like gaming, 4K recording, or long streaming sessions.

realme is also adding a playful element to the event with the realmeow Fluffy Edition, expected to be a special edition product based on the company’s mascot. More details will be announced at the festival.
