Realme’s Next Phone to Feature Massive Battery Exceeding 10,000mAh

Realme is gearing up to push battery technology boundaries again with a new smartphone teaser hinting at a battery capacity bigger than 10,000mAh. The company revealed a concept phone earlier this year in May featuring a massive 10,000mAh battery using silicon-anode technology. This concept phone was notably slim at 8.5mm thick and weighed 212 grams, striking an impressive balance between capacity and form factor.

“The Biggest Just Got Even Bigger”

Realme recently shared a teaser video titled “THE BIGGEST JUST GOT EVEN BIGGER,” suggesting a new breakthrough in battery size. The company highlighted that it is ready to “redefine the limits once more,” implying the upcoming smartphone will pack an even larger battery, potentially surpassing the 10,000mAh mark. The teaser shows a magnifying glass emphasizing “1x000mAh,” sparking speculation that the new device might come with a battery as large as 12,000mAh or beyond.

Chase Xu, Realme’s Vice President and President of Global Marketing, expressed his excitement on social media, stating, “Battery limits broken—again. Finally meets my standards! But how big, exactly? August 27, you’ll see.”

Fast Charging Legacy Continues

Realme’s confidence in big batteries is tied to its advancements in fast-charging technology. At last year’s 828 Fan Festival, Realme introduced its 320W SuperSonic Charge, capable of charging a 4420mAh battery from zero to full in just 4 minutes and 30 seconds. With larger batteries, combining capacity and rapid charging will be crucial for a practical user experience.

What to Expect on August 27

The new phone with the giant battery is expected to debut on August 27, 2025. While details remain scarce, Realme’s teaser hints at addressing the strong consumer demand for prolonged battery life without forcing compromises in size and weight.

This upcoming launch could set new standards for battery capacity in smartphones, laying the groundwork for devices that can easily last multiple days on a single charge, even under heavy use.
