The Samsung Galaxy A36 5G has recently surfaced in CAD-based renders, courtesy of @OnLeaks, showcasing a familiar design with a punch-hole display and a new camera arrangement surrounding its triple rear cameras. The positioning of the flash remains unchanged. The device measures 162.6 x 77.9 x 7.4 mm, making it slightly shorter but wider and thinner than its predecessor, the Galaxy A35 5G, which measures 161.7 x 78 x 8.2 mm.

In terms of performance, the Galaxy A36 5G is expected to be powered by either the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, paired with an Adreno 710 GPU. It will likely feature 6GB of RAM, with an option for an 8GB variant as well. Recent benchmark listings have hinted at these specifications, indicating that the device will run on Android 15 with One UI 7.0 when it launches, anticipated in early 2025.

The Galaxy A36 5G aims to build upon the features of its predecessor while maintaining Samsung’s commitment to software longevity, expected to receive 6 OS updates throughout its lifecycle. This positions it as a strong contender in the mid-range smartphone market, appealing to users who seek both performance and longevity in their devices.

Overall, the Galaxy A36 5G is shaping up to be a noteworthy addition to Samsung’s lineup, promising enhanced specifications and a familiar yet refined design that could attract consumers looking for value in their next smartphone purchase.
