Samsung has officially launched the Android 15-based One UI 7 beta program for its Galaxy S23 series—Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra—in India, marking a significant milestone for users eager to experience the latest software enhancements. This rollout follows the beta release for Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 devices earlier this month.
The One UI 7 beta introduces exciting visual upgrades, improved personalization, enhanced productivity tools, and stronger security features. Samsung has encouraged participants to provide feedback during the beta program to refine the software further. The update also includes the March 2025 Android security patch, ensuring robust protection against vulnerabilities.
Galaxy S23 series users can join the beta program through the Samsung Members app by selecting the One UI Beta Program banner. Once enrolled, they will receive the update via an over-the-air (OTA) download. However, only unlocked devices are eligible for the beta, leaving carrier-locked models and the Galaxy S23 FE excluded for now.
Samsung has confirmed that other devices, such as the Galaxy Tab S10 series and Galaxy A55, will receive One UI 7 beta later this month. The stable version of One UI 7 is expected to roll out in April 2025.
With its focus on smoother animations, AI-powered features, and refined design, One UI 7 aims to deliver an unparalleled user experience. However, as with any beta software, users should be cautious about potential bugs and avoid installing it on primary devices without proper backups.
