Samsung is set to refresh its budget tablet lineup with the Galaxy Tab A11, which has recently surfaced in a real-life photo and certification listings ahead of its anticipated launch as early as next month, likely starting in India.

The Galaxy Tab A11 (model SM-X135N) continues Samsung’s familiar entry-level tablet design with slim bezels around an 8.7-inch TFT LCD display featuring a resolution of 800 x 1340 pixels. The front-facing camera is positioned along the top bezel for landscape video calls, while the back panel sports a minimalist look with a single rear camera paired with an LED flash in the corner.

Internally, the tablet is powered by the MediaTek MT8781 chipset, effectively the same as the Helio G99 processor used in last year’s Galaxy Tab A9. This indicates a focus on cost-effective, reliable performance for everyday tasks, rather than a major performance upgrade. The device is expected to ship with Android 13 or possibly Android 15 out of the box.

Battery capacity is rumored to be around 5,000mAh, providing sufficient endurance for streaming, browsing, and light productivity. Memory and storage options will likely include 4GB or 8GB RAM paired with 64GB or 128GB internal storage, expandable via a dedicated microSDXC slot. Additional expected features include stereo speakers for enhanced audio, a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer, and 4G LTE connectivity.

The Galaxy Tab A11 aims to offer a no-frills, straightforward tablet experience suitable for budget-conscious casual users, students, or those seeking a secondary device. Alongside the standard Tab A11, Samsung may also launch a higher-end Galaxy Tab A11+ variant, expected to feature a larger display size (around 11 inches) and upgraded hardware such as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor.
