Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Flip7 and Z Fold7 are generating significant buzz as they are set to launch later this year. Notably, reports indicate that these devices will not experience a price increase compared to their predecessors, the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Z Fold6, maintaining the pricing structure established by the recently unveiled Galaxy S25 series.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 is expected to retain its predecessor’s camera setup, featuring a 50-megapixel main camera alongside a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP front camera. This consistency in camera specifications suggests that Samsung is focusing on refining other aspects of the device rather than overhauling its imaging capabilities. The device will reportedly be powered by the Exynos 2500, with the possibility of utilizing the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy in certain markets. Enhancements include a special aluminum alloy armored side frame, improvements to the hinge mechanism, and continued use of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for screen protection. The charging capability remains at 25W, similar to its predecessor, and storage options are expected to include 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB of internal memory.

On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is anticipated to feature larger inner and outer displays while maintaining peak brightness levels of up to 2600 nits. It will also utilize the Exynos 2500 chipset exclusively. The design will incorporate an aluminum alloy armored frame instead of titanium, along with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for added durability. The device is expected to see improvements in cooling solutions and will support Wi-Fi 7. Battery capacity is set to remain at 4400mAh, but charging speeds will increase to 45W, a notable upgrade from the previous model’s 25W. Camera advancements include a significant upgrade to a 200MP main sensor, complemented by a 12MP ultra-wide and a 10MP telephoto camera, aligning its capabilities with those of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

In terms of pricing, both devices are projected to maintain their current price points, with the Galaxy Z Flip7 starting around ₹109,000 (approximately $1,100) and the Galaxy Z Fold7 beginning at approximately ₹1,69,990 ($1,900). This strategic decision by Samsung reflects an effort to stabilize prices amid fluctuating production costs while delivering robust features in their flagship foldable lineup.

As anticipation builds for their official release in summer 2025, consumers can look forward to innovative features and enhancements that promise to elevate the foldable smartphone experience without additional financial burden.
